All work is available for purchase, commissions upon request. StudioFAXON creates assemblages of still life objects that became colored pencil drawings that eventually morphed into wearable art and sculpture. I take pride in creating work that provokes innovative thinking and inspires self-expression that can bring energy and excitement when the viewers find their own personal connection.

As a multidisciplinary artist based in Westerly, Rhode Island, Sarah Lawhorne’s work explores the New England landscape through a natural lens. Sarah works with old school film photography as well as alternative processes, including black and white landscape photography, nostalgic color photography, and one-of-a-kind cyanotypes that capture the heart of the places she explores.

At Studio 209, artists Alexis Ansay & Jessie LaValley find inspiration from items that are on their way to the landfill or have already been littered in our community. Giving new life to what is traditionally viewed as waste allows them to stay resourceful in their craft while inspiring others to do the same! Jessie of Kelping Hands creates upcycled wall art, accessories, home decor, & plants while Alexis focuses on paintings, block printing, mixed media collages, recycled sculpture, and graphite drawings.

The Hoxie Gallery is a public art gallery that generally displays the work of local area artists. In keeping with the overall mission of the Memorial and Library Association, we offer art exhibits to the community by providing exhibit space for area artists. Each exhibit is booked for the period of one month. The Hoxie Gallery is available for limited private use after hours only, and is subject to the approval of the Executive Director. Due to the nature of the space, and the range of art exhibits that are displayed, reservation policies and procedures differ for use of the Hoxie Gallery.
