Jessie gives new life to materials that are often overlooked, repurposing recyclables, misc. metals, thrifted items, and found objects littered around our community. Saving items destined for the landfill is the mission behind Kelping Hands. Founded on plastic mosaics, Jessie uses beach plastics & other household recyclable to create colorful mosaic mirrors, plant pots, coasters & frames. Her current focus is metalwork, creating unique driftwood hangings, plant propagation jars, bag charms, and mixed-media wall art from scrap metal. Open to any material & medium, you never know what you’ll find a Studio 209!
